Well, we experienced a couple software problems early in the year. Just when we thought they were resolved, we started seeing the very weird temperatures pop up. At one point, the problem was corrected. But not too soon thereafter, the problem returned.
When we dug deeper we discovered an electrical problem with the controller inside the sign and the transmitter which allows us to wirelessly maintain it. They both need to be replaced. Fortunately, the sign is under warranty and the parts do not cost us anything. However, it could take several weeks for them to arrive.
We hope to have this repaired before the end of the year.
So – yep, even this device needs maintenance from time to time!
