UPDATED July 31st

Our contractor reported they are delayed about one day due to the weather.

Given the present outlook, they believe they will be completed with the last bit of work, and demobilize on Monday August 3rd.

ORIGINAL POST July 24th

Our team scheduled for repairs and painting of the west facing facade of the racquetball court structure beginning Monday July 27th.

We expect them to be completed Friday July 31st by the end of business.

Weather permitting, workers will be going back and forth from the 2nd floor roof throughout each work day between 9am and 5pm. There will be a section of scaffolding set up as well as ladders in use. We don’t expect there to be much noise, but from time to time as with any work on a metal structure, please don’t be surprised if you notice some clanging or banging.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this improvement is coordinated.

For multiple months we have received complaints regarding the homeless takeovers at several Uptown bus stops. The majority of the complaints have focused on the heavily used bus stop and bus shelter across from Aldi and Target, at the corner of Sunnyside and Broadway.Reader AK sent the following photos to illustrate the situation.
