Kitchen Exhaust System Repairs

Our maintenance team reported that parts are in for planned repairs to the main Kitchen Exhaust air handler.
Work is anticipated to take place Monday September 28th through Thursday October 1st, between 9am and 5pm.
Between these dates the kitchen exhaust serving every unit will be offline. Air circulation will be reduced building wide, and cooking odors will take longer to dissipate. With luck, if all goes well the exhaust line could be returned to service earlier on Thursday.
There will be banging and hammering in the Mechanical room while this work is being done. Because of the concrete and steel construction of the building, it is possible units below, even as far down as 10 floors or so, may hear noise from this work from time to time.
