We are hoping to receive word soon about when ComEd will begin work in their vault under the sidewalk on Sheridan Road. Originally this was supposed to begin sometime in the fall. They reported delays in getting permit approval from the City and subsequently said the project would begin in December. However, we have not yet even received confirmation they have the necessary permits yet.
The biggest piece of the plaza/driveway project remaining is installation of the vertical panels along plaza wall, facing the sidewalk and Sheridan Road. As recently reported, final measurements and drawings were approved, and the panels are now being manufactured. As they are custom made, and due to the timing with the holidays, we do not expect them to be brought in for installation until sometime in late January. Hopefully by then, we will have and eta or at least an update from ComEd to help us plan finishing up the wall along this location.
