Budget & Finance Meeting CANCELLED

Due to anticipated absences and scheduling issues, the meeting for September 27th has been cancelled. Once Management has more information, it will be posted.

The Budget & Finance Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday September 27th at 4:30PM in the 2nd Floor Party Room.

All owners are welcome and encouraged to attend.

At this time, there is no Agenda, however the Committee will likely review the most recent financial statements and the calendar to set dates to begin reviewing the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2017/2018. They may also discuss events and business such as the status of budgeted reserve projects and the recent passage of the water/sewer tax increase.

In case you missed it, the Chicago Tribune came out with a detailed investigative report this weekend regarding the financial malfeasance underlying the 2025 closure of Weiss Hospital and the 2026 closure of West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park. According to the article, the 2022 purchase of the hospitals from Pipeline Health was approved by the State of Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board without sufficient investigation. Bus "Shelters" No More

For multiple months we have received complaints regarding the homeless takeovers at several Uptown bus stops. The majority of the complaints have focused on the heavily used bus stop and bus shelter across from Aldi and Target, at the corner of Sunnyside and Broadway.Reader AK sent the following photos to illustrate the situation.
