Exterior Window Washing Is Scheduled And Expected To Begin The Week Of December 6th And Thereafter As Necessary And Weather Permitting

This was delayed from the previously planned start date of November 15th due mostly to weather the caused there calendar to change. We are also completing the annual anchorage inspection, and allowing some time for the window washers to receive our updated certification.

Seasonal Window Washing is now scheduled and confirmed by our vendor Corporate Cleaning, weather permitting, the week of December 6th. At present the outlook for the weather appears to be relatively cooperative, but this time of year in Chicago unexpected changes are not unusual. Precipitation or high winds would result in a delay, as safety of the window washers is paramount with this type of task.

We do ask the vendor to start on the ’01 tier corner, and work around the exterior counter clockwise progressing tier by tier. But weather conditions could dictate they switch to another tier. So, the best alert they are in route, is seeing their ropes drop outside your windows.

If the weather cooperates, this work can be completed within 5 business days. If the weather is chronically uncooperative, they will work on Saturday and Sunday as a last resort.
