Obviously, the weather was an obstacle to progress this week. So work will continue, as conditions permit. For safety reasons, high winds and precipitation do prevent this type of work from being done.
The current outlook does appear to including more stable conditions, but as we know that can change. But, with cooperative weather, work will continue. To date, we’ve only received word they were able to work on the ’01 tier. If conditions permit, they will work around the Tower, counterclockwise. If you see the ropes drops outside your windows, they will likely be coming down.
We’ve received word from our Window Washing vendor, they are gearing up to conduct our seasonal cleaning. The weather does look potentially problematic at least on and off. Rain or high winds would result in a delay, as safety of the window washers is paramount with this type of task.
We do ask the vendor to start on the ’01 tier corner, and work around the exterior counter clockwise progressing tier by tier. But weather conditions could dictate they switch to another tier. So, the best alert they are in route, is seeing their ropes drop outside your windows.
If the weather cooperates, this work is typically done within 5 business days. If the weather is chronically uncooperative, they will work on Saturday and Sunday as a last resort.
Don’t hesitate to contact us with any problems or concerns. Best by e-mail at parktowercondo-mgmt@habitat.com or phone 773-769-3250. For example, if they miss a spot or a window, let us know. We have 7 days to report any such problems. The vendor sends a rep to inspect the area in question and they will address it.
We hope all our Owners and residents are well and staying safe!
