Just a few suggestions to share to help make life easier when there are shut downs such as this, which actually came from one of your neighbors!
When we are not draining the building, or doing work on the drains, most units will still be able to have a flush or two in each bathroom. If you are worried, or want a back up plan, a pale or bucket of water can be set aside. If you need to flush, pour the bucket into the bowel. About half of a 5 gallon bucket, or a mop bucket full of water will allow most toilets to flush down. (Obviously when we are working on drains, you can not do this. In this case, we are working on the main supplies, so you are welcome to flush and otherwise use the water while there is pressure.)
It’s also a good idea to have some bottled water or a pitcher of drinking water in the refrigerator in case you need it. If you already have a pitcher or water filter reservoir, fill it up Tuesday early evening.
Or, as your neighbor put it, plan to hang out overnight at an over-the-top Mardi Gras party!

Maintenance and Repairs Scheduled for Water Mains
Overnight Tuesday 2/28 at 10pm to Wednesday 3/1 at 5am
After encountering some additional issues to address and additional planning, the water main work has been rescheduled for Tuesday night, February 28, 2017 beginning after 10pm, and continuing to about 5am Wednesday morning. Work has been scheduled for replacement of all 6 of our water main valves. This is being done in conjunction with planned repairs to address to our water mains and the pumps which provide water to all of Park Tower.
Work includes ALL residential units, commercial units, commercial restrooms, the health club, women’s locker room, men’s locker room, laundry room, and garage. The main lines through the building WILL NOT be drained, meaning most residents may still get some water pressure and your toilets may flush a couple times if needed.
