Hot And Cold Water – Temporarily Reduced Pressure

WEDNESDAY, November 4, 2020

To accommodate the 2nd planned PRV replacement, hot and cold water pressure may be reduced at times to the kitchens and bathrooms from the 3^rd to 29^th floors, beginning Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 11:00 PM. Full service is expected to be restored by 8:00 AM the following day, Thursday November 5^th.

In order to accommodate the planned replacement of a main pressure controlling valve, Hot and Cold water pressure may be reduced to floors 3-30, on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. This may be more noticeable on higher floors, and will vary from time to time as the work is being done.

At a recent meeting, the Board of Directors authorized several improvements to Park Tower plumbing infrastructure, including the budgeted replacement of the Hot Water Heaters and pressure reducing valves. On Tuesday October 27th, this gets underway with the replacement of the 1st of 3 pressure reducing valves which serve floors 3-30.

Between now and mid-November, the final 2 valves are expected to be replaced as well. Stay tuned to this post, as we will follow up with updates.
