Despite assurances by folks at the USPS, including the Uptown Station, complaints about the US Mail appear to again be on the increase. This includes (but is not limited to) mis-delivered mail, mail inexplicably returned to sender despite a proper address, completely missing mail, and the hours the carrier delivers mail. And residents are not alone – the Management Office is struggling with numerous problems as well.
We have been in contact with the Alderman’s Office and the office Representative Jan Schakowsky. We have begun forwarding complaints to the Representatives office, and we are told our complaints will be escalated within the USPS, with here office demanding they be addressed. So, beyond lodging complaints directly with the USPS, please try the following:
