The US Census felt their original visits were very productive, so they’ve requested to continue working from the Park Tower lobby Monday-Friday, 9/21 – 9/25 and Monday-Friday, 9/28 – 10/2.
If you did not complete your US Census survey online or otherwise, feel free to stop by the lobby and you can complete your survey in person.
From the US Census team leader for our area:
Park Tower Condominium owners or tenants
Article I, Section 2 of the US Constitution mandates that the country conduct a count of its population once every 10 years. No distinction is made between citizens and non-citizens and that question is not asked.
Census information is critical to determine the number of seats in the US House of Representatives. The Census also provides critical data that lawmakers, business owners, teachers, and others use to provide daily services, products and support to your community. Every year billions of dollars in federal funding goes to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads and other resources based on Census data.
All Census workers are federal government employees who have taken an oath to protect the confidentiality of the information they collect. Only authorized, sworn Census Bureau employees have access to Census information. The data are used for statistical purposes only. This means that no person or household can be identified from the published Census results.
To help protect our employees and the public from COVID-19, Census Bureau employees are required to wear a mask during in-person interviews, to practice social distancing of 6 feet, and to observe all state and local requirements. Our employees have identification badges which will be displayed while on duty. They can also provide you with their local Census office phone number for verification of employment.
In our attempt to complete the missing Census information for those missing units in your building, enumerators will be at tables in your lobby on Monday, Sept 14th between the hours of 10am & 2pm, then again between 4pm & 8pm. These interviews are very short and can be completed in approximately 5-10 minutes.
You may just stop by or you can call to schedule an appointment at 602-617-5885.
Thank you for your help in completing the missing census information for your unit, and we look forward to seeing you on Sept 14th.
Sincerely,
Todd Armbruster
