Prior to the Board Meeting scheduled for Monday January 8th, 2018, State Representative Kelly Cassidy will be joining us for a Town Hall Meeting.

We invited Rep. Cassidy (of the 14th District) specifically to discuss recent changes to the Illinois Condominium Act, and how they came to pass. But she told me she is looking forward to meeting with our community, discussing other State and local issues and addressing any questions and concerns our Condo Owners and residents have.

As presently scheduled, Representative Cassidy is expected to join us the evening of January 8th, at 7pm. Following the Town Hall, the Park Tower Board of Directors will host the Special Meeting of the Unit Owners to discuss the Association’s proposed budget for the 2018/2019 fiscal year. (Formal notices of this meeting, with the proposed budget, are being mailed to all Unit Owners the week of December 26th.) That is scheduled for 7:30pm, but will start following Rep. Cassidy’s visit. Following the Special Meeting, the Board will hold the Janaury 8th, 2018 Board Meeting.

All residents are welcomed and encouraged to join us for the Town Hall Meeting with Representative Cassidy. The Special Meeting and Board Meeting to follow are open to Unit Owners.

NOTE: Kelly Cassidy is a Democrat elected as State Representative of the 14th District of Illinois. Hosting this Town Hall Meeting should not be construed as an endorsement of any party or Rep. Cassidy. Rather, Park Tower is located in the District she represents, and therefore it is considered relevant and important for Owners and Resident to have such an opportunity to discuss and ask questions about topics and issues of interest to the State, District and neighborhood.
