URGENT SECURITY ADVISORY!

Management has received several reports of a tall, Caucasian, balding, middle aged male, knocking on doors and soliciting money. In at least two cases we are aware of, the residents have opened their doors and given this individual money. Also, one of the residents who got a knock at the door believes the individual to be a man who resides in the building.

PLEASE DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR FOR ANYONE YOU DO NOT KNOW OR DO NOT EXPECT!

For everyone’s safety and comfort, including your own, we request residents contact the front desk immediately, at 773-769-3083, if someone unknown to you is knocking at the door. A member of the staff will be dispatched to the scene to investigate as immediately as possible.

If the individual appears to be intoxicated or belligerent, we request that you also contact 911. Otherwise, our staff will make a determination whether the authorities need to be contacted when they arrive.

Also, as the saying goes, if you see something, say something! NEVER hesitate to report suspicious individuals, activities or materials. Anything out of place or not quite right, may deserve a second look by our staff and/or the authorities.
