Dear Neighbor:

There are a number of street resurfacing projects scheduled to begin soon in the ward. These projects take approximately 4 weeks* to complete.

Week 1 – Street asphalt is removed/milled
Week 2 – All utilities are identified, checked and addressed
Week 3 – Any repairs needed are addressed including any curbs, gutters & sidewalks that were damaged during asphalt removal
Week 4 – Pending all has been addressed, street is then resurfaced
* Please note that this schedule is tentative and weather permitting

We apologize in advance for any parking restrictions throughout this project. Even if machines and workers are not visible on the street, there’s still work being done behind the scenes and parking restrictions must remain in place.

The following streets are scheduled to be resurfaced and could begin as early as this coming Friday, weather permitting and are in no particular order:

W. Ardmore Ave., from Sheridan Rd. to the Lakefront
N. Wayne Ave., from Ardmore Ave. to Early Ave.
W. Thorndale Ave., from Broadway to Sheridan Rd.
W. Balmoral Ave., from Broadway to Sheridan Rd.
Finally, any speedhumps that are on these streets will be replaced before the 2017 season ends.
