While our bookkeeper was conducting a routine review of monthly reports through our accounting system, he discovered that upcoming charges for March were not being processed correctly. This would result in balance discrepancies being printed on the statement and in online ledgers in Habitat’s Rent Cafe platform.
Habitat is currently working to correct this problem and we are awaiting word on when accurate balances and statements will be ready. In the mean time, the grace period will be extended for a reasonable period once this is resolved and statements are ready.
Just to reassure everyone, this only impacted future charges. February charges and those prior all appear to be accurate.
