7:30PM: Call to Order
The meeting chair is expected to be the Board President Michael Parrie who will bring the meeting to order, and confirm whether there is a quorum present.
Purpose of Meeting
The meeting chair may explain the history of the 12c matter and purpose of the meeting to vote on the proposed purchase/sale of Unit 12c by the Association. The chair will direct any discussion and call on audience members to speak as necessary for questions and comments. Please be courteous and respectful to those speaking. Wait to be recognized by the meeting chair before speaking.
Call For Vote
The meeting chair may call for a motion to vote on the attached resolution, second, and discussion, from the floor to bring the matter of the purchase/sale of Unit 12c by the Association to a vote of the owners present either in person or by proxy.
A sample motion for an owner from the floor follows: “I move that the Unit Owners of the Park Tower Condominium Association vote whether to approve the proposed purchase and subsequent sale of Unit 12c by the Park Tower Condominium Association, whereas (read attached resolution)….”
The meeting chair may then call for any final distribution and collection of ballots.
Call To Close Vote
The meeting chair may call for a motion, second and discussion from the floor, to close voting on the matter of the purchase/sale of Unit 12c by the Association to a vote of the owners.
A sample motion for an owner from the floor follows: “I move to close of the vote of the Unit Owners on whether to approve the proposed purchase and subsequent sale of Unit 12c by the Park Tower Condominium Association.”
The meeting chair may call for a recess of the meeting so ballots can be reviewed and tabulated, after which Management may be asked to review the preliminary results of the vote. The results will be audited by Picker and Associates for accuracy.
Adjournment
The meeting chair may call for a motion, second and discussion from the floor, to adjourn the Special Meeting of the Unit Owners.
A sample motion for an owner from the floor follows: “I move to adjourn the Special Meeting of the Park Tower Condo Association Unit Owners to vote on the proposed purchase and subsequent sale of Unit 12c, at PM.”
