Demo and Plumbing Working 1 Day Behind Calendar
FINAL WATER SHUT OFF EXPECTED Friday July 27th
Due to unknown conditions, not related to the Riser itself, our team halted progress on plumbing and demo work for one day.
Residents in these units following along on their calendars, just need to add one day to each effort for demo and plumbing. However, insulation and reconstruction should remain on schedule.
If there are any other changes, our team will let you know.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact the office at 773-769-3250 or e-mail me at timothy.patricio@draperandkramer.
We appreciate your continued patience and understanding while we work on these improvements.
GOOD NEWS, for the ’15 units. (Sorry ’03s)
The Riser is really only accessible on the ’03 side. We still have to do the ’15 branchlines, insulation and connections. And our team may still be coming and going at times to check your water flow and pressure. But overall, not as much work is needed.
Obviously as we are going from unit to unit, this may not be the case universally. Depending on our findings, if their are unknown conditions or other issues that may arise, we may have to do some work after all. But so far, so good.
AND, if you already have copper branchlines from remodeling or repairs in the past, then we may not need to open your wall at all!!

WATER SHUT OFF NOTICE!
The Project to replace the Hot Water Riser serving the ’03 and ’15 unit bathrooms, from the 3rd to 29th floors gets underway Monday July 9th! The team will be starting on the 3rd floor working up, as noted in the calendars and notices residents of these units should have already received. Water is expected to be off each weekday between 9am and 4pm to these locations, from Tuesday July 10th through Friday July 27th, 2018.
These daily shut downs will accommodate the work needed for the replacement of the riser, but are only needed for duration of the project while actual plumbing work is being done, consistent with the notices and calendars Owners and Residents of these units received. Once the plumbing work is completed each business day, the water will be turned back on. That is usually sometime between 2pm and 4pm.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate all residents’ patience and understanding while this very important improvement project is completed. Feel free to contact the office with any questions.
