Ridge Avenue Water Main Project: Beginning on Monday July 11th
Ridge Avenue from Clark to Broadway will be closed with only one lane of eastbound traffic for cta buses, emergency vehicles, and construction trucks starting July 11th (and for the 5-6 weeks following that start date).
We (the Alderman’s office) will continue to provide updates in our Friday email newsletter for the 48th Ward. In addition, a separate email list for information on this project is available. We (CTA) are making improvements at the Berwyn station. Work will be performed
that may affect your community. While progress sometimes comes with
inconveniences, we will do our best to keep them to a minimum.

Work Hours: 6am Monday to 4pm Friday
Location: 1100-1200 W. Berwyn Avenue
Work Activity: Plumbing Work
Local Impact:
• Berwyn will be closed to all traffic.
• There will be noise while the work is being performed.
Noise may include:
° General construction noise
° Engine noise from backhoe
° Saw cutting of pavement
° There will be light in the work zone.
