Our Assistant Engineer of about 13 years, Zlatco Pavelic, has accepted a job as Head Engineer at another Chicago high rise.
Zlatko started working at Park Tower in 2002 as a janitor and in May 2003 was promoted to the position of Assistant Engineer. His daily duties included overseeing the operation and maintenance of Park Tower Heating and Cooling systems with our Chief Engineer, the pools and health club, and supervising the Maintenance department in solving daily issues. He also assisted Management with coordinating outside vendors on performing contracted maintenance and repairs, and other larger projects.
Our very own Matt Brown, who is the son of PTCA’s former retired Chief Engineer Chuck Brown, has accepted an offer to step into the shoes as our Assistant Engineer.
Matt is ambitious and motivated to get rolling with his new responsibilities. He is already getting his feet wet as we beginning interviewing for the maintenance position that has opened in the wake of his promotion.
We are sad to see Zlatco go, but excited to have Matt move up. If you see him around, be sure to congratulate him!
