At Recent Board Meeting, Repairs to Several Doors and Frames Were Approved For the Pool Area.

The purpose of the work is to address some leaking our team suspects is coming from the frames, and to replace several old doors that are not operating properly. The doors and frames around the pool structure are custom sized, and not just something we can purchase off a shelf, so production of the needed materials has been underway since the project was approved in October.

We just received word production was completed, and the contractor doing the work is gearing up to begin installation during business hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday December 28th through the 30th. They anticipate being done with the work by 5pm on Wednesday, though unforeseen problems or conditions could result in additional work.

While workers are present, it may get noisy from time to time and drafty. If you are planning to use the pool area over this time period, you can expect cold temperatures from time to time. They will be removing old doors, putting up new ones, and doing some frame repairs and sealant work. There will be drilling, banging and hammering from time to time, and air from the outside will make it’s way inward while this is being done.
