Good News – we expect to be able to begin filling, heating and treating the pool next week!

Barring any surprises or as of yet unknown conditions, the contractor anticipates being done with the liner installation by Tuesday. After that time, our team will do a thorough cleaning of the pool area and gutters. If all goes as presently expected, they will begin filling the pool with water either Tuesday or Wednesday.

It takes a couple a couple days to fill the pool. During that time, we will work to bring it up to the appropriate temperature and balance the chemicals. Once the chemicals are appropriate, we will be able to reopen and allow members to begin using the facility again. This could be as soon as Saturday August 26th.

The locker rooms are about 95% completed. The biggest challenge right now is completing programming of the door operators. Our staff was trying to accomplish this in house. However, they ran into problems and we’ve had to call in our door vendor to finish this. We are hopeful this will be done Monday August 21st. After they finish the programming, the facility should be reopened for use.
