Kitchen & Bath Exhaust Outages To Accommodate Repairs

Kitchen Exhaust Tuesday August 13th 8am to 4pm

Bathroom Exhaust Tuesday August 20th 9am to 5pm

The main exhaust fan serving the all kitchens will be offline Tuesday August 13th 8am-4pm. This is to accommodate repairs to failing bearings on the kitchen exhaust motor in the 56th floor mechanical room, Residents may notice that the vents are not drawing air as they typically due, and depending on the weather there may be locations where the air flow is reversed at times. If the work is completed faster than expected (which is possible), the exhaust will be put back online sooner.

Similarly, the bathroom exhaust fan will be taken off line from 8am-4pm on Tuesday August 20th.  Our team is preparing for future repairs, and contractors need to take pictures and measurements on the inside of the equipment. During this time, residents may notice the bathroom vents are not drawing air, and may even reverse depending on the weather. It too will be put back online just as soon as this work is done.
