Suspicious Individual In The Edgewater Neighborhood Has Reportedly Attempted Entry Into A Number Of Buildings
We’ve received a heads up from both ASCO and multiple managers along Sheridan Road, that there is a individual trying to gain access to residential buildings. He is described as a thin, 6 foot tall well dressed Caucasian male. It was reported by at least one property he drove to the building on a Divvy bike.
PLEASE BE REMINDED: Do NOT allow anyone that is not known to you into the building. And do not be afraid to ask anyone tailgating you through a door with a fob reader, to present their fob and swipe. And, if they refuse, report the event immediately to a member of the staff. If the office is closed, please report it to security or the front desk.
And always, be on alert for any suspicious activity. If you “see something, say something”. Report anything or anyone odd to you or out of place to the staff and management, and frankly when in doubt, call 911.
