Art Walk 2019 is both an art show with several locations and a fundraising event for Care for Real
Publicity includes ..
o Flyer posted in neighborhood businesses
o Press releases to Edgeville Buzz, Alderman Osterman’s Weekly Update, and Chambers of Commerce for both Edgewater and Andersonville
o Facebook and Instagram integrated social media
o Individual artists posting and virtual posting – flyers provided for the asking
1. Each artist will be assigned a number. That number will be on a table in the first-floor Lobby between the revolving doors and the mailboxes for the high tower.
2. You may set up for the show as early as 9 A.M. Just be ready to open at 11 A.M.
3. PTCA will provide a space, a table, a white plastic tablecloth, and a chair for each artist. If you need more than one chair please let us know by May 13th. YOU MUST STAY WITH YOUR DISPLAY AND WITHIN YOUR SPACE. We don’t want anyone to have any items stolen or misplaced. You or a representative that you trust must stay at your designated display area at all times.
4. As with any art show the artist will be responsible for:
a. Setting up their display on the table and area in front or in back of the display before 11A.M. PLEASE NOTE: Do not infringe on your neighboring artist’s space unless
they give permission to do so. You may store extra inventory below your table. Tables may not be moved in order to maintain a safe walking path through the lobby.
b. All monetary exchange is strictly between the artist and the customers. PTCA association in NO way will be involved with the selling of art. You must have cash and
change in hand for the sale of your art work. (There is an ATM cash machine near the PTCA grocery store if your customers need cash; since the cash machine dispenses
$20 bills, please make sure you have, one’s fives’ tens’ available).
c. Artists are responsible for packaging, wrapping or bagging of sold art work for their customers.
d. Artist will be required to remove all art work and all personal items from the assigned table and surrounding area by 5:00 P.M. If you need more time, please speak with
Sheldon.
e. Artists have agreed to donate 10% of their sales to Care For Real. Please have cash or a check ready to be picked up at the end of the day with your donation. Please give
your donation to Sheldon Atovsky. If you want a tax donation receipt please make sure you provide you name, address and amount.
f. Your participation implies agreement to photography of you and/or of your work for documentation of Art Walk 2019 and for us in publicity of future Art Walks.
