Work is expected to continue Monday and Tuesday, but they’ve scheduled teams to work overnight. This will be between 9pm and 5am. There may be an odor present from time to time when they are applying the new metal coating. And there may be times when both revolving doors will be inaccessible. When that is the case, residents will need to use the side doors.
They expect to use a special air handler while they work, to help the odor dissipate faster. However, depending on wind conditions and air pressure, there is a slight possibility this could sneak into the hallways or mall area while they are working.
We apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this work causes, and appreciate your patience while it’s completed.
Our metal maintenance contractor, Stuart Dean, will be performing scheduled maintenance to the revolving doors this Thursday and Friday. Specifically, they will be performing repairs and coating maintenance to the doors and frames. This is done to help increase the useful life of the metal, and to keep them looking presentable.
Work is expected to be performed between 8am and 5pm each day, and ingress and egress through the doors may be obstructed while work is being done, and when there is wet paint. This is for resident’s protection, as well as to protect the integrity of the work being performed.
Also – while they are painting, there will be an odor. The crew is expected to bring an air-handler to help the odor dissipate. However, you may notice this odor and depending on wind conditions it may enter the building and mall area from time to time. We will do our best to prevent this, but in the past there are times when the odor has spread somewhat.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while this work is completed, and apologize in advance for any frustration or inconvenience this work may cause.
