Our team does not presently have the manpower to complete this task again, so it is being outsourced. The vendor completing this work will be re-stripping the floor Wednesday night, September 29th. The new wax coating is then expected to go down on Thursday night, September 30th.
There will likely be barricades from time to time both nights through the early morning, between 10:30pm and 7am.
We apologize for any delay or inconvenience you may experience maneuvering these locations.
Our staff has scheduled work to polish the floor in the lobby and connecting corridors over the next couple week.
This work is expected to get underway with stripping of the old wax layer, scheduled for late Sunday night (August 8th) and then continuing Monday and Tuesday night. This work will be done overnight to reduce the inconvenience to residents, as it is a bit loud and they will be working in front doorways from time to time. The removal process will leave the floor with a dull and ashy appearance.
The floor will be thoroughly cleaned and detailed, and prepped for a new top coat, which is expected to follow next week barring any surprises or emergencies that might distract the team. After buffing and further detailing, the glossy marble finish will return.
Please use care and caution if you do encounter workers or equipment as you come and go, though as always our time will do their best to minimize any inconvenience or obstruction.
