Repairs to the lobby ceiling above the doorman are expected to be done the week the week of December 13th.

The team at Green Tech Decorating will be doing the work and they estimate the repair to will take about 3 days. To accommodate this repair, a temporary scaffold will be set up in the lobby for the duration. The Christmas tree will be temporarily relocated to the other side of the Fire Panel, and will be returned to its present location afterward.

For their safety, the door attendants and security personnel will be relocated for most of the duration of the project. They will have their remote “clicker fob” to continue granting access to the lobby door for residents and guests, as well as a hard copy of our resident directory to continuing managing traffic.  There will be times where they are able to access the desk when needed, but when workers are directly overhead for the most of the duration of the project.

From time to time, due to the location of the repair, the lobby glass door that the residents get buzzed through may be blocked off as well.

Our goal is to get this done before the holidays, so the lobby looks its best. Once it is done, we will get the tree back in place and get things back to normal.
