On Tuesday June 11th, new sewage ejectors pump on our main drains are being installed. To perform this work, our team will need to close the laundry room early morning until late afternoon, Tuesday June 11th from 7am to 3pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

The “ejector pumps” are exactly what the name suggests. They help give the buildings drain lines a little extra heave-ho so waste and sewage move on through and all the way out. The Board approved this work several months ago after we experienced a series of repeated problems and failures with the existing pumps, which are original to the building. One has since completely gone off line. Repairs were determined to be almost as costly as replacement, so new pumps were ordered. The work needed is such that logistically, the laundry room needs to be closed.

The necessary materials are in, and preparations are underway to complete the work. The laundry room will be closed on Tuesday around 7am and reopened once the work is done. This may be sooner than 3pm, but we request residents plan for that time just to be sure. We will send updates via the buildings text message service. NOT A MEMBER?
