They are telling us they expect this to be down for about 1 hour, before the cold water is returned to service.
Barring further problems they are hopeful the hot water valve work will remain close to schedule, and the hot water should return to service by 5pm.
If there are any changes to these expectations, we will follow up.

All Units Floors 30 to 55
In order to accommodate the planned replacement of a main supply valve to the hot water tanks, a shut down of hot water service has been scheduled for Tuesday August 20th from 9am to 5pm. This valve is considered one of the most important serving the high zone units, floors 30 to 55. It has reached the end of its useful life, becoming increasingly difficult to open and close, and in fact is preventing us from being able to perform other maintenance needed in the vicinity.
For the duration of this project residents can expect to have cold water at all times. Toilets should still flush and all sinks will have cold water service. Hot water will be unavailable until the work is completed and the tanks have an opportunity to heat back up to temperature. They expect this to be returned to service by 5pm, but we will send updates if expectations change.
