The word is out! The County is hiking taxes, and the average tax payer can expect bills to be about 10% higher.
Despite the measures the Association has taken over the years, successfully appealing owners assessed valuations, property taxes still seem to creep up every year. It is not an infrequent question – “Why if we won the appeal, are my taxes still going up?” Well, we can only appeal the ‘assessed valuations’, which is one of multiple variables which effect how much you are billed. What one can say is, if we did not appeal the valuations over the years, tax bills would be much higher than they already are.
