While the weather continues to swing between summer and spring, we are scheduling to take the heating plant off line for the season.
We will be watching the weather closely, but if the current outlook holds, on June 15th our team will turn the heating boilers off for the remainder of the summer. At that time, heating service will not be available as we begin seasonal maintenance of the mechanical equipment, pumps, motors and boilers – everything that helps deliver heat to your units when it is cold.
We do not expect to bring heating service back online again until the fall. The team keeps a pulse on the weather, but the goal is to have our boilers ready to go by September 15th each year.
We’ve gotten this question a lot this Spring. Those registers are only for supplemental RADIANT heating in the winter. They were designed to assist with keeping the 2 bedroom living space comfortable during severe cold weather. Those heating lines typically come on line in the dead of winter, when temperatures are hovering below or well below freezing. The colder it gets outside, the warmer the line becomes, to help keep your space warmer along the large expanse of windows on those three corners of the PT triangle.
They are not connected to the cooling system, and will not blow cool air during the summer.
If you have any questions, please contact the office.
