In case you haven’t heard, remodeling of Park Tower’s hallways is underway.

The 55th Floor mock-up was chosen based on the survey completed earlier this year. Contractors already updated the 54^th and 53^rd Floors and work is progressing downward at a pace of two hallways every two weeks.

Work takes about 3 weeks per hall. The third week our team expects to install the new light fixtures. They also inspect the completed work and meet with the contractor to address any problems or touch ups that may be needed. We encourage Owners and residents to be a part of this process. Feel free to report any problems you may observe as well.

As of September 15th, the workers are on Floors 49 and 50. Work is expected to begin on Floors 47 and 48 on September 26th, and Floors 45 and 46 on October 9th. The effort will continue downward until all hallways have been remodeled. Schedules are being posted routinely at ptcondo.com, and paper copies are door dropped the week before we expect to begin.

One thing residents should be aware of and prepared for is door painting. Work during the second week on each floor will include all unit doors. They will be sanded and painted. It will be a two-day effort for each floor and DOORS WILL BE OPEN. To provide extra security, a member of our staff will be in the hallway while doors are open. This is expected to be between 9am and 5pm on those days.

Finally, you may have noticed the large dumpster in the back by the dock. This is specifically for materials being demo’d for the project.
