Hallway Air Flow Will Be Significantly Reduced Weekdays
Starting next week Monday April 10th until Friday April 28th, the hallway air supply and exhaust will be on and off weekdays during business hours 8-5pm. This is to accommodate the final work being done for the replacement of the heating and cooling coils and dampers in our mechanical penthouse.
Following approval by the Board, work on this project started in the fall of 2022. This was stopped as we waited for the final materials to arrive. Because delivery of what we needed happened mid-winter, our team postponed the remaining work until more reasonable weather was being forecast. Otherwise work may have caused discomfort.
Most of the demo work has been done and all preparations have been made, so they are only putting the remaining parts and equipment into place.
Both fans will be on at the end of each day, but while they are off during the day, residents will likely notice reduced fresh air flow in their units.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this work is completed.
