A consideration and suggestion from the Social Commission, we are welcoming pictures and bios to post for any family or friends you might like to send a graduation shout out to.

Whether it’s a young one, 8th graders, high schooler, college or otherwise, we know the pandemic has really put a lid on their moment to shine. So, we want to help!

The Social Commission had been considering whether they might do some non-public-gathering or something similar for, “…secondary or collegiate (or even higher) graduates since they have to deal with the double-whammy of 1) no graduation ceremony and 2) no party.” Reported to me by member and PT Resident Gregory Nigosian

“We never could agree on something suitable for the Social Committee to do.  But then I proposed something which he suggested that I pass along to you: offer families with graduates a spot on your column to congratulate their graduates-in-hibernation (if not actual quarantines).”

Absolutely we want to help, just send me a photo and bio, to tpatricio@habitat.com. Let’s say by Monday June 1st. We will put together a group announcement for anyone who might like to partake.

Whether you do or don’t, we of course want to express our collective pride in any of our resident graduates, or your friends and family who may be graduating! Ceremony or not, CONGRATS!
