Watch For Chute Closing Notices…
Over the summer it became apparent there may be breaches in the chute lining. After an investigation, several locations were determined to be in need of repair and the Board authorized work to be done at a recent meeting. Since that time, the necessary parts and materials were ordered, and we have been awaiting delivery. The vendor has advised they are now in route, and we are just waiting for a date to begin.
SOME AREAS OF THE CHUTE WILL BE CLOSED from time to time as the work is being done. We have asked the vendor for at least 7 to 10 days notice so we can get the message out to residents, along with instructions as to what to do with your garbage until the work is completed.
This is never a fun task for the staff or residents. So we greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation once this gets underway. Just watch for the notices and please heed any instructions for waste removal. If you have any questions at all, feel free to send us an e-mail.
