It appears the work will take one or two more nights than expected.
Work started Friday July 7th on the 2P level in the overnight hours. Removing the old doors took a bit more work than they anticipated, so additional time will be needed.
Saturday July 8th they will return and continue with 2P, and if time allows work begin on the 1p level. They will begin around 8pm and continue into the morning on Sunday. Work will be performed and continue into the overnight hours. If they continue experiencing difficulty as they did on Friday, we expect they may return Sunday and/or Monday night. We will update this post, once we have more information.
From time to time while work is underway, traffic through these doors will be hampered. They are bringing the old materials down and putting the new doors in place. Parkers may experience delays coming and going through these thresholds. Though, they will do there best to coordinate as needed so residents and guests can come and go.
Anyone expecting guests should let them know parking may be somewhat limited during this time.
We realize this project may be an inconvenience for those who depend on parking availability. However, the purpose of this effort is to improve safety, and this maintenance is necessary to bring the building and the garage doors into compliance with relevant building fire codes.
We greatly appreciate our parker’s patience and understanding while this maintenance is being performed, and apologize in advance for any disruption or inconvenience this causes.
