We’ve received word the materials have arrived and the vendor doing the installation is ready to get started. The effort was planned to replace the aging panel to bring our system up to code, up to date technologically and to address equipment that is no longer even manufactured. This could have been very problematic had there been failures requiring replacements, if need parts aren’t even made any longer. We have faced delays as the manufacture of this particular type of electronics has been crippled by supply chain issues the past couple years, but fortunately we are pleased to report we are in the cue!
The needed work is expected to commence on Tuesday May 16th from 8AM to 3PM on weekdays, and will take about 2 weeks to be completed.
Workers will be going to and from the lobby and locations throughout the building including the mall, residential hallways, stairs and other common areas, as they test devices to be connected to the new panel. We can expect workers, tools and equipment will coming and going from these locations as needed.
YOU MAY HERE TEST ANNOUNCEMENTS from time to time throughout the hallways and common areas from emergency announcement system speakers. You may also see the strobe lights flashing from time to time, as this is being done. Please don’t be alarmed as this is a part of the process to insure all the devices are operational and functioning properly.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this improvement project is being completed.
