AT&T is gearing up to begin the install of the fiber network throughout Park Tower, making our community fully fiber capable!

This will include bringing the main fiber line up to each floor and hallway, and “home-run” fiber line and network outlet into each unit. (Home-run means each unit will have a dedicated fiber line.) This work is expected to begin in early 2018.

As we speak, AT&T’s main fiber service line is being brought into PT through the garage, and construction of their hub is underway. Space and materials are being readied for the network installation to begin. We do not yet have a definitive schedule for the work to take place within the tower, but we have been told to expect a commencement date in late January or early February. (This is very tentative and subject to change.)

As a part of process, we want to make sure owners and residents are prepared for what to expect will happen on each floor and in each unit. Representatives from AT&T including the project manager have scheduled to hold a Town Hall Meeting at Park Tower for owners and residents, on Monday November 20th, at 7pm in the 2nd Floor Party Room. At that time, the will explain a bit about the history of the project, and what is going to be happening in each hallway and unit. Owners and Residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and address concerns at that time.
