Exterior Work Update

Despite the weather, it is our understanding ComEd has made progress on the vault ceiling replacement project.
At present they are forming up rebar and pouring the various layers of concrete which forms the roof over the main vault which served Park Tower. Ultimately they will pour a new sidewalk. The bus stop will be returned, and they have promised to rebuild the landscaped parkways including our irrigation system and the sod that has been mangled by their vehicles and equipment.
We have not had an update directly from ComEd, however it seems based on our observations they appear to be close to their target of being finished in July. They did not report any surprises or unknown conditions. So barring weather interruptions, they should be on completed in the next month. We asked for a detailed update and timeline and hope to share that in a future update.
After they depart, LS Contracting will return to complete the vertical paneling along the plaza, finishing work to the railings, and the final punchlist items for the Driveway Project.
