Due to a staffing shortage, until further notice we can only respond to requests for essential work, such as clogged drains, leaking, access to utilities, HVAC problems, life safety issues, and locks and keys. We do not presently have the resources to respond to non-essential repairs or services. Our team’s priority has to be to attend to common area cleaning and maintenance.
The recruiting team at Habitat Company is working on qualified candidates, however they’ve definitely warned us we are not the only building or business that is searching for help. With luck, we will have applications to review soon to fill some of the job openings we have, but even then training takes time.
So, work orders will not be accepted at this time for in unit tasks such as changing light bulbs, rehanging closet doors, fixing cabinets, drawers or shelves, and other minor fixer-upper type repairs we might typically help with.
