Beginning Monday February 27th at 8am through mid-afternoon and continuing on Tuesday, OTIS elevator will be taking each elevator out of service, one at a time, to conduct mandatory annual safety tests. It is expected to be limited to no more than a couple hours per elevator, however if they find a problem or unforeseen condition additional time may be needed.
The process is set to begin 6am on Monday with Service Elevator 6, as there are reservations on Monday and Tuesday. So they are going to get that one finished first. After that, we would expect elevator 5, 4 and 3. Depending on how long that work takes the remaining elevators would follow.
We sympathize with any inconvenience this important work may cause, and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while it’s completed.
