We are pleased to announce an inaugural neighborhood collaboration, Art Walk, which will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018 (11am-4pm) along 4 blocks of Sheridan Road.

This free event will provide art lovers with the opportunity to visit four buildings (Edgewater Beach Apartments, Park Tower Condominiums, The Breakers at Edgewater Beach, and The Admiral at the Lake). There will be a mix of artists displaying their work and artists selling their work at these locations. A percentage of the proceeds from art sales will be donated to Care for Real, a social welfare agency and food pantry.

“Art Walk is what happens when neighbors meet and collaborate,” explains Sheldon Atovsky, Chair of the Social Committee at Park Tower Condominiums. “The residents of these four buildings are artistically creative as well as civically minded.” In addition to supporting Care for Real with donations, The Admiral at the Lake will feature artwork from a selection of the talented students at Goudy School in Uptown alongside the work from resident artists.

Art Walk is an opportunity for locals and visitors to explore and to engage their senses in Chicago’s historic Edgewater community.
