Owners and Residents have undoubtedly started to notice the barricades have come down, and the driveway is now back open for traffic.
Expect workers to continue working as the railings get finished, lighting and electrical work is coordinated, masonry repairs and tuck-pointing proceed along the brick wall, and “punch-list” items get addressed by the contractor. This will likely be going on for several weeks as we have asked the contractor to address several things which may take some time. But the biggest inconveniences should be out of the way…
…until ComEd gets here, of course. Replacement of the concrete over their vault along Sheridan Road is pending. No word yet on a start date. The panels along the plaza are now in production. As previously reported, once they are ready for installation the contractor will proceed along the north portion of the plaza. If we continue to have no substantial word from ComEd on a commencement date for the project, a decision will be made whether to further delay installation along the southern exposure.
WE GREATLY APPRECIATE OUR OWNERS AND RESIDENTS PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING throughout this whole process. The support and cooperation of those who live here has been amazing, and key to us being able to get to this point.
