While we are sure future weather may fluctuate as it always does, our team has drained the cooling tower and AC related lines for winterization. Unfortunately, conditions have dictated the need to do this.
It appears cool to cold conditions are here to stay for awhile, so we expecting we will be defaulting to heating mode for the foreseeable future this season. Our team will begin scheduling seasonal maintenance of the mechanical equipment, pumps, motors and other fixtures that help deliver heat to your units when during the Spring, Summer and Fall.
For the time being, we do not expect to bring cooling service back online again until the Spring. Our team will keep a pulse on the weather, but the goal is to have our Cooling Tower, Chillers and other fixtures ready to go by April each year.
We’ve gotten this question a lot over the years. The registers along the living room windows are only for supplemental RADIANT heating in the winter. They were designed to assist with keeping the 2 bedroom living space comfortable – and reduce window frost and condensation – during severe cold weather. Those heating lines typically come on line in the dead of winter, when temperatures are around 40 or lower. The colder it gets outside, the warmer the line becomes, to help keep your space warmer along the large expanse of windows on those three corners of the PT triangle.
No matter what though, please do not hesitate to contact the office or a member of the staff with any questions. If you are uncomfortable, the only way we could possibly help, is if we know.
