We forwarded a number of communications we received to the Alderman’s Office, and we heard back from PC Gooden-Smiley, the Alderman’s Community Outreach Manager who said:
“The Alderman is working with DCFS and the Park district to identify the people who are in the sites, we will then collaborate with DCFS and other Social Service Agencies to come up with some solutions to address this issue. In the meantime, you can send me any correspondence that you receive around this concern.”
Residents are also welcome and encouraged to contact PC directly:
I would also suggest sharing concerns directly with the Alderman and since the Park is managed by the Chicago Park District communicating with them could be helpful as well.
For the Alderman:
For the Park District you can reach the Board of Commissioners at:

While Management can forward and share concerns, we know from experience the more residents and taxpayers they hear from directly about situations such as this, the more likely there tends to be quicker resolutions.
