Once we have a couple days in a row without precipitation, and when the forecast looks dry, they will begin the work.
(This work is weather dependent – a forecast of rain or other adverse conditions may result in this being delayed to the next business day.)
Most of the drain work can be completed in one day, but the area being repaired (see cover photo) may be barricaded for a few days depending on weather so the concrete can properly set and cure. This problematic drain leaks from time to time into 1p, is being removed and replaced. This was identified as an issue while work has been ongoing in the garage, and we’ve been awaiting the arrival of the materials and appropriate weather to schedule it. This will require some concrete and sealant work.
There will be jackhammering and sawing, and some dust will be generated. We have asked that they avoid significant noise until 9am, but they will likely be prepping just after 7am or so.
The workers will also be addressing some problematic sealants adjacent to the driveway, which we believe is behind some other leaking that was reported. Residents and drivers may need to make temporary detours as they are working in these locations and completing the repair work.
We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding, and apologize in advance for any inconvenience these efforts may cause anyone.
