It is certain to be an exciting and busy weekend in downtown Chicago as the Bank of America Chicago Marathon takes place in our city Sunday morning.

Although Park Tower is not in immediate proximity to the marathon course and start/finish lines in Grant Park, but we wanted to take this opportunity to share some reminders about safety and security, as well as area street closures and parking restrictions:

• Given the large number of spectators that will be throughout Chicago neighborhoods for the event, our management team and door staff will continue to be vigilant in monitoring the building entrance and lobby. Please remind your guests they must have the doorman call up to your unit when they arrive before being buzzed in; or, plan to meet visitors in the lobby and escort them to your unit.
• Please also be aware of street closures and parking restrictions over the weekend, and adjust your plans accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. A flyer about street closures can be viewed here, and a full list of street closures and their approximate reopening times can be found at www.chicagomarathon.com/streetclosures.
