In the end, apparently more repairs end up being needed!
We’re told multiple residents of a nearby high-rise reported two men approaching drivers in strip malls and grocery store parking lots, claiming to the driver that their car is damaged and they can fix it on the spot. It is alleged the two men caused the damage while the driver was in the store. They purportedly apply a compound to the car and tell the car owner to wait about an hour before washing it off.
Of course, they then request money for the completed “repairs” they made. To make matters worse, it is further alleged the “compound” they apply causes more damage and the car owner then has to take the car to an actual body shop for proper repairs.
Buyer beware! If reports are accurate, these two guys are real good talkers and name droppers. They make the story seem very believable. Probably the best suggestion would be to leave and contact the authorities.
