The Committee met with Management as scheduled on Tuesday the 23rd to review and discuss the Association’s most recent financial statements. There was also discussion about the exterior project and the work the Board has approved and added at open meetings over the summer, including addressing unknown conditions and deterioration found under the old plaza and tuck-pointing. The Copies of the draft proposed budget for the next fiscal year March 2015-February 2016 were distributed to the members. They discussed the anticipated timing for the release of the professional Reserve Study which is underway, and they set their schedule to begin the review process and ultimately forward a recommended budget to the Board for consideration. Management advised the Committee that information from the most recent financials – not yet released to the Committee and Board – were input for review with the budget, but would not be formally released for another week. Preliminary information from the Reserve Study is anticipated to be released in October, with the report itself coming out in November. The Committee Chair noted that depending on the exact date of their release, the meeting date to consider the reserve may need to be revisited.
