The new ATM is located in the diagonal cubby in the common area, between the Park Tower Market and Suite 116 adjacent to the North mall entrance.
Several months ago, the market operator replaced the Bridgeview Bank ATM with a generic service. Allegedly, Bridgeview’s ATM was having too many service problems and outages. At the time the market operator suggested if we could figure out what was causing the problems, they would reconsider.
We investigated this with Bridgeview, who said the ATM operated wirelessly over the internet. And from their records, it seemed any problems were primarily due to issues with the signal. To help resolve the matter, we offered to run a hard line with internet access to the market for the ATM. However, the market operator did not respond to requests from the Association to reinstall the Bridgeview ATM with the hard wire.
So, after meetings with Bridgeview, identifying a location for the new ATM, running a line for direct internet service, and a thumbs up from the PT Board of Directors at the November 30th meeting, the ATM has been installed and is now operational. The new location outside of the market means the ATM will be available 24/7!
Unfortunately, Bridgeview is not able to install an ATM that accepts deposits. We realize there are several hundred Bridgeview clients in Park Tower. We are working with the manager at the Bridgeview branch on Bryn Mawr to set up personal banking hours here at the building, where among other business they could accept deposits. This is a program they have at several neighboring buildings, and something they are considering to offer here to help folks who are either too busy or otherwise unable to make it to the branch regularly.
